The Giving Christmas Tree |

 Thank you to everyone who donated to the Giving Tree this year. Christ Church will be delivering just over two dozen DVDs and CDs for the children and teens living at Ronald McDonald House here in Toronto on Christmas Eve. If you still wanted to make a donation, we will be able to forward it on after Christmas.

The season of Advent is here and so is our Giving Christmas Tree!! The tree was a huge success last year - this time around it will be the focal point of a Christmas outreach to the Scott Mission and the residents of College View seniors apartments.
The Scott Mission The Scott Mission is a non-denominational Christian ministry of service and compassion to homeless, lonely and needy people in downtown Toronto. Every year they collect toys for needy families. With this in mind, our tree will be a chance for anyone who is able, to bring in a new unwrapped toy, puzzle, game, or book to be given to the Scott Mission toy drive. Especially needed are toys for boys between the ages of 7 and 12 years old. For information about the Scott Mission, click here ». College View Seniors Apartments In addition to this there will be Christmas cards available for people to sign and put on the tree which will be sent to the senior residents at College View.
