The Learning Ministry
The Learning Ministry
presents a lively, musical exploration of Advent with Mary Lou Fallis & Peter Tiefenbach
Canadian comedienne Mary Lou Fallis and pianist Peter Tiefenbach will present a unique, refreshing and (perhaps not intentionally) irreverent look at the music, and maybe even some of the carols, featured in the season of Advent. Mary Lou Fallis is considered 'Canada's foremost musical comedienne.' Known to thousands of viewers and listeners across the country through her concert work, as a host on CBC radio and participant on the TV series, 'Bathroom Diva', Ms Fallis has reinvented the classical music comedy genre. She is best known as the creator and interpreter of the original one-woman show, 'Primadonna' and its many sequals, based on her own life as a singer. Her collaborator, Peter Tiefenbach is a gifted pianst, radio host and composer and mentor. His work with Mary Lou Fallis began in 1997. Mr Tiefenbach is a member of the Royal Conservatory of Music, serves as a bass section lead in the morning choirs of St Thomas' Anglican Church and is a longtime member of the award winning Exultate Chamber Singers. Join us for a wonderful evening of music and laughter.
