Bell’Arte Singers
Bell'Arte Singers

Et Lux Perpetua

Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 8:00 pm at Christ Church Deer Park - “O Death, you are a bitter pill” - so tells us composer Hans Leo Hassler. Certainly, humans have feared and railed against death throughout our existance. However death, or the loss of someone close to us, can also bring peace — and hope for what may come next. It is this hopefulness that the Bell'Arte Singers will explore in a thoughtful and uplifting concert featuring Herbert Howells' haunting and light-filled Requiem. Contact the choir directly here »

The Bell’Arte Singers is one of Canada’s finest community choirs. Founded in 1988 by Dr. Lee Willingham, the Singers have established themselves in all genres of repertoire and styles through concerts, recordings, and broadcasts. Three European tours have established the choir’s reputation outside of Canada. Dr. Margot Rejskind, Director. Visit the Bell'Arte Singers website »

Canadian Amateur Musicians CAMMAC

CAMMAC Toronto
Once a month, CAMMAC singers and instrumentalists get together and "read through" a mass, cantata or opera (for choir and orchestra) under the direction of a professional choir director. The read-throughs are not intended as rehearsals, and we do not perform for any formal audience, although listeners are welcome. Monthly readings are held at Christ Church Deer Park. Next up: March 21 2010 at 2-4:30 pm: Conductor Mark Vuorinen directs Bruckner: Te Deum & Psalm 150. For contact and information, please visit CAMMAC website here »
