Christ Church Deer Park is on Yonge at Heath(NW corner) - minutes north of the St Clair subway. Street parking on Yonge, Heath. Municipal Parking off Heath is directly across from the church.

 

Christ Church Deer Park is an accessible facility. Enter by the tower door on Heath Street.

CCDP is pleased to be a beautiful performance space for the community - beauty and music being an avenue of approach to the presence of the divine Spirit!

This listing of groups and individuals performing is offered as a public service - for information and tickets, please contact the group concerned.

Consider CCDP as a performance venue!

The church is an excellent performance space which holds up to 500 comfortably - the acoustics are excellent. The state-of-the-art sound system is capable of a live direct-to-CD recording of the event. Rehearsal spaces and pre-/post-performance reception facilities can also be arranged.

CCDP is in a convenient central location, a 5-minute walk north from the St. Clair station on the Yonge subway, accessible, with street parking and a municipal parking lot directly across the street.

The Larkin Singers, a 16-voice chamber choir, has quickly established itself as one of the finest examples of Canada’s strong choral heritage, dedicating itself primarily to liturgical choral repertoire. Founded in 2008 under the direction of Matthew Larkin, the choir’s singers hail from Toronto and Ottawa and perform regularly as professional choristers and soloists in Canada and abroad.

CAMMAC Toronto

Once a month, CAMMAC singers and instrumentalists get together and "read through" a mass, cantata or opera (for choir and orchestra) under the direction of a professional choir director. Occasionally readings feature pieces for a capella choir (singers only) or symphonies or other orchestral works (instrumentalists only). The read-throughs are not intended as rehearsals, and we do not perform for any formal audience, although listeners are welcome. Monthly readings are held at Christ Church Deer Park.

Yemel Philharmonic Society presents Jay Jung and Sunju Koh
in what promises to be a hugely entertaining evening of great music making. Jay Jung is the recipient of several music awards and prizes, including the Grand Prize and Conductor/Director Award of the 20th Annapolis Opera Competition. He has a Master's degree in voice and opera from the Cleveland Institute of Music and has performed numerous operatic roles with opera companies in the United States.Included in Mr. Jung's and Ms. Koh's recital program are Schubert’s famous lied “Erlking”, art songs by Ravel, and popular arias from operas by Mozart, Verdi and Bizet. Sunju Koh will also perform a Chopin Nocturne and Haydn’s Sonata in C.
