Facilities Christ Church Deer Park offer a number of facilities and meeting rooms suitable for events of all sizes - from small groups to events for up to 500 participants. Conveniently located just north of the St. Clair Station on the Yonge subway. Parking is available at the municipal public lot across from the church on Heath Street. Free on Sunday mornings. Limited on-street parking in the neighbourhood.
Accessibility
Christ Church Deer Park is wheelchair-friendly, with designated seating in the church - wheelchairs are easily accommodated on the south side of the church beside the baptismal font.
Ramps are at the Heath Street entrance. Inside, ramps access from the chancel through the chapel and into the main foyer. From there, an elevator accesses the basement rooms (children's chapel and lower parish hall) and upper level (Elliott Hall and Arthur Smith Room). |

THE CHURCH
|
The pews hold up to 500 comfortably and the acoustics are excellent. The church is equipped with state-of-the-art sound system which is capable of a live direct-to-CD recording of the event. |

RECEPTION ROOMS & MEETING ROOMS
The Arthur Smith Room |
Our upper parish hall is a large, bright room with soaring ceiling, suitable for receptions, exhibits or large, community meetings. It adjoins a full service kitchen stocked with all catering needs, including restaurant sized stove, warming cabinet and dishwasher. The room will comfortably seat up to 20 tables of eight for luncheons or dinners or theatre style seating for approximately 300 for large meetings.

View More Free Videos Online at Veoh.com Arthur Smith Room A comfortably furnished room with fireplace, ideal for smaller gatherings. It can open up as an anteroom to Elliott Hall or be closed off for more intimate meetings.
Lower Parish Hall Downstairs and of the same size as Elliott Hall but with a lower ceiling and smaller windows. Ideal for large meetings or exhibits. A full kitchen also adjoins this hall.
Meeting Rooms All on the lower level, these are comfortably furnished and suitable for meetings of up to 10 or 12 people.

USE & RENTALS
The church area is equipped with an infra-red hearing system for those who wish to hear the service more clearly. For headsets, please see the Verger at the Heath Street entrance. Live-to-CD Recording The state-of-the-art sound system in the church-proper is able to record direct to CD. Recordings of services are available - please call the parish office for details: 416-920-5211. Air-conditioning Reception rooms and offices are air-conditioned for comfort during the hot days of summer. Smoke-free Christ Church Deer Park is a smoke-free environment. |
