Repair Work Update Last Sept 29, the CCDP Property Committee met with Nick Mather of Roof Tile Management Inc. to review the progress of the current outdoor repair project, which addresses the water infiltration problems. All masonry repairs are progressing well with no surprises. In many areas on the North and West facing church walls deep pointing was required, and most masonry repairs will be completed shortly. Next week, Roof Tile will begin their work on: retro-fitting the downspouts to discharge water from the roof to grade, the replacement of several slate roof tiles, and repairs to the snow guard shield on the roof. The outdoor portion of this project is scheduled to end on Oct 14. Naturally, once everything is complete the Property Committee will begin planning the interior painting requirements where water damage has occurred. Parish Council

The clergy look after the spiritual and liturgical needs of the parish and the office staff look after the day-to-day scheduling of events and accounting, but the church would still not operate at top efficiency without the input and caring of the dedicated volunteers to Parish Council.

Wardens and Ministry Chairs elected annually

Two Wardens, one Deputy Warden and the Ministry chairs are elected at the annual meeting (Vestry). The Wardens move up the the line each year to maintain continuity...from Deputy, to People's Warden, to Rector's Warden...a three-year commitment

The Wardens, along with the Rector, form the Corporation, which meets regularly to assess the overall running of the church, approve expenditures, consider and/or act upon suggestions from Parish Council, and set the annual budget.

Monthly meetings & reports

Parish Council meets monthly to review and consider reports and suggestions from the various Ministry chairs and reports to Corporation.

Members of Parish Council are the chairs of the various Ministries, the President of Anglican Church Women (ACW) and up to two members-at-large. A Chair and Secretary are appointed by Vestry. A member of the clergy and one of the Wardens also attend.
