Parish Council
The purpose of these days is to create a refreshed, dynamic sense of future directions for the next 3-5 years at CCDP. Priority areas identified in October 2006 for further review in January 2007 were:
  • Worship & Music
  • Growing the Congregation
  • Financial well-being
  • Outreach & Community Engagement
  • Marketing & Communications
  • Building & Grounds

A proposed new mission statement was presented. We invited all to consider attending so that many voices are heard and many opinions are considered in this ongoing conversation about future directions. The ultimate objective will be to create a strategic plan for presentation to the parish with approval and implementation by Parish Council and Corporation. Strategic Planning Day 2007

  • Saturday, January 20, 2007: Summary report to be posted soon.
  • Guest speaker The Rev. Canon Harold Percy is the Rector of Trinity Anglican Church, Streetsville. Canon Percy travels widely throughout North America speaking on congregational development and church growth. He is author of the book Your Church Can Thrive.

  • Carolyn Kearns, a management consultant with The Randolph Group facilitated that event - with 50 parishioners present. Guest speaker was Don Posterski.
