  • The first Parish Forum will take place after the 10 am morning service on Sunday March 21, 12 noon - 2 pm. The Parish Forum, co-chaired by John van Nostrand and Carolyn Kearns will be held to address the topic of 2 versus 3 Sunday morning services. The original intent of the 9-week pilot project of services at 8 and 10 am was to return to 9:15 and 11 am on April 11. To date, the feedback on the 10 am service has been very favourable. Based on the collected feedback along with Parish Forum's recommendation, the clergy will consider what format the services should take, and that may mean a continuation of the 2 Sunday services or a return to 3 Sunday services. Therefore, we welcome your attendance at and contribution to Parish Forum on March 21.

There is no prerequisite and no test to pass. Come have some fun with us as we explore who God is, and what that means for us as individuals and as community. We will ask ourselves who or what is important to us, is God on the top 10 list? Field trips and special guests are on the list of fun, I would be happy to answer any questions you may have. I can be reached at the church extension 27 or by email

Confirmation will be celebrated at the Easter Vigil on Saturday April 3, 2010, at 7:00 pm with Bishop Patrick Yu.

Are available every Sunday from the clergy before you receive the Sacrament at the altar rail. At various times in our life, we may feel a need for a prayer for healing in mind, body or spirit. Please feel welcome to ask the clergy for this ministry.

Eucharistic Bread for 9:15 am Worship Service
For many years, Genevieve Chornenki and William Jackson have made the bread for the Sunday 9:15 am worship service. Now, they are willing to generously offer this opportunity to others to make a contribution to our eucharistic worship. We have a very easy-to-follow recipe that makes 4 small loaves - it takes about 1 1/2 hours from start to finish. If you are willing to make bread this coming season, please speak to one of the clergy and we would be happy to pass along our kitchen-tested recipe.
